Gallery Panels Costume Contest Musical Moments Fun with Friends

The Spirit Lives On generously provided manniquins for Espen, Stephanie and I
to display our costumes in both the gallery and in our costume panels. Becky Dillin and
her crew of dedicated workers were an absolute joy to coordinate with and I could not have
managed without their help. THANK YOU TSLO! You were brilliant...

Each day we stocked the gallery with a different theme of costumes.

Saturday - Baddies

Espen's Twighlight wraith is layers of silk and trims, dyed light blue and highly distressed. Sauron is made of craft foam and paper clay, painted with a black 'stone' texturizing paint, silver patina and a touch of black acrylic in varnish to finish it off. It's very light and comes completely apart so as to enable me to pack it! The wraith was a quick (1 week) costume I made this summer. It has two layers of light weight cotton fabric, and the hood is made stiff by heat n' bond fabric glue that comes in sheets to be ironed to fabric.

Sunday - Rohirrim
