Elrond's Sheath

The sheath for Elrond's sword was created by Weta Workshop

Got Maul/Jose created his own sheath for Hadhafang to wear with his Elrond costume

This is a close up of it.

There are no photos of the process, but basically he created the base out of sintra,
And then cut the leather to fit, wetting it and wrapping it around the piece to dry in the shape of the plastic.

The details were created using gapoxio and he used gold rub and buff to color it.
Jose then finished it with several coats of polyeurathan
