Obi-wan's Jedi Academy Forums - This is the site I found through the Obi-wan's Jedi Academy Tutorial that started my costuming obsession. I joined about three years ago and have been an admin for a little over a year. I moderate the board with my good buddy, Jodo Kast 3. It's a rather small group of participants compared to some of the other boards, but we keep it fun and upbeat. I'm Jedielfqueen there too.

AVEN - Asexual Visability and Educational Network- This forum is a place for those who are asexual or are curious about asexuality because they might know someone who is. I joined this after visiting a few times and finding a lot in common with the others there. I'm not going to put my forum name here for several reasons, but I do post pretty regularly. The Fellowship Festival Forums - This is the forum for TFF convention that is held in London in the late summer. Details can be found on the site. I am a moderator there by the name of Jedielfqueen. As we get closer to the date of the convention more details will be available and I'll be posting a lot more.

Philosophysphere - THIS SITE HAS CLOSED! But I'm leaving this here because I miss it. I've been a member here for well over five years. I find it a safe place to discuss topics that elsewhere would start flame wars and cause hurt feelings. (such as religion and politics) It is populated by great range of individuals who span the spectrum of belief systems and political standings. And yet we all discuss our views civily. I've learned a great deal about what people believe and why and have made some good friends and honed my debate skills in the process. Because of the nature of the discussions and the possibility of something being taken out of context, I'd rather not just announce my screen name. But if you want to know email me and ask and I'll think about it. Some of the people have moved to Roddenberry's new site, but I have yet to be there regularly.

The Dented Helmet - These guys helped me out when I was building my sons' Jango Fett costume. I don't visit as much since then, but I still go once in a while. I'm Guri there.

The Replica Prop Forum - Anything and everything about prop and costumes. This site has so many people on it, it's scary! But if you have a question about how to build something or where to get something, SOMEBODY there has the answer. I'm Guri there too. (I've stopped going - it's too big for me.)

Jorn Benzon Official Fan Forum - Here's a fun place to talk about Jorn Benzon - who played Rumil and many other roles in LOTR. I've been there pretty much since it opened and I go as Jedielfqueen.

Jarl Benzon Official Fan Forum - This is Jarl's fan forum. He was in LOTR as Glorfindel and many other roles. You have to join in order to look... I haven't joined yet...so no forum name.

Sandro Kopp Official Fan Forum - This forum is dedicated to the beautifully talented artist and actor Sandro, who was also an extra in LOTR and will be a Centaur in Narnia. His brother Vinai ingeniously set it up to coinside with the Sandro Yahoo group so you can post one place and your post goes up both places! As of writing this, I haven't joined yet, but probably will at some point.

Fandom Wank - This LJ is made up of tattle-tales who post links to Fan forums around the net where fans are getting out of hand. It's rather amusing, and quite a good way for fans to learn about possible wankiness or wanky tendency in their own behavior. I have never posted and will probably never join, but when I need a break from work, I do take a peek.

POTC Costume List - I was in this group when it first began and I was working on my Jack Sparrow costume. But I don't really go anymore... It's still a useful list though!

Eudaimonist Euphoria - is a nexus for people who are on a rational spiritual journey of self-examination, self-actualization, self-esteem, and happiness. Typical topics range from the theory to the practice of personal flourishing. This forum is moderated to ensure civil interaction. I'm Jedielfqueen there.
