Putting it together
Here is a sample of photos of the pauldrons I used.
Using printouts, I found the size I thought was best.
Next I traced the print out
and fixed the skewed perspective.
And then used references to draw the other part of the pauldron
I cut it out of posterboard to get a stiffer template prototype.
Doing a photo comparison I can see it is both a bit too small and too boxy

After reworking the design,
I scanned and printed it out again in two sizes.
The Pauldron Template on the right shoulder is slightly larger
than the left shoulder.
Once I decide if either is the correct size, I will make it in posterboard again, and perfect the shape
To get a better visual, I cut out some printed shapes.
I am still not happy with
the angle and size! But I have a plan....

This is my final template design.
After thinking about it long
and hard, I figured out the problem
with the angle was the three layers below were not there to hold
it up!
Interestingly enough, the Rohirrim and the Galadhrim Elves are both blonde.
