BOOTS - BELT - TUNIC - LIGHTSABER

Click for pouch tutorial

I used OJA's tutorial for reference

  No good photo to show

The first belt was just a regular belt... You use what you have when just starting out. *heh* The second belt was fabric with clear packing tape over it. (I was in a hurry) The third belt and fourth version is two old vinyl belts I painted. The first here is the original. My first attempt at belt pouches (second image) used juice boxes that I covered with paper mache and painted. The second set I made (third image) was out of foam. Click for foam tutorial.

I couldn't find the pens that were used for the movie food capsels, so I used highlighter caps and painted them with metalic fingernail polish For the third belt I used tacks for the silver belt holders. For the fourth belt I glued big male snap pieces. I made the belt clasp out of metal surrounded by sculpty clay and painted silver. I used specs from OJA. The top photo is my first attempt.

For the clip, I bought a $5 phone clip. It's not the right one, but I couldn't find the right one. I used the smallest version in the box. And used "Goop" glue to glue the knob to the lightsaber. It holds wonderfully.

To accomidate changing weight and getting a good snug fit, I've used a wide panel of vinyl to cover the velcro fastening system in the back. I may upgrade to real leather at some point...
